Hello all! Yes, I know it's only January, and
therefore a terrible tease to start talking about WAR,
but it looks like we're going to have a full camp this
Memorial Day, and we want to get cracking on the

If you're getting this email, it means you've either
camped with us before, or have expressed serious
interest in doing so this year. We're putting an
"interest list" together right now. We're not asking
if you're 100% sure you'll go, just what your plans
are. Pre reg/land allocation will begin sooner than
you might think, and we're going to need a lot of
people to allocate so we can have enough room for all
our stuff!

Just reply to me, or any of the council members, to
let us know what your status is. If you are hoping to
bring someone, let us know ASAP!

If you haven't pre-reg'd yet, do it!

Also, our girl Katie is leaving us for nursing school in the midwest, so there will be a going away party for her Saturday night. Location is TBA, so stay tuned!

Pre reg and land allocation is now up for Sept. WAR.

You can allocate land without paying just yet.

This WAR is only three days, like before, but you know it will be fun.

Pre reg is open and our camp has been resgistered. After you pre-reg, go to the land allocation part and register as a camper to our camp. The sooner the better to lock in our usual spot. Also, if you have any food suggestions, send them to Kelsey now, the menu will be set soon!

I'll email you directions if you'd like them

May WAR is closer than you might think! Not close enough, of course, but near.

We're hoping to do a lot with our camp this year, and we have started the conversation with other camps about how to be sure we get the site we all want. I'll have more information for you later on, but for now you can help by getting your money ready to pre-reg. That will be the most important thing this year, that we get as many people as possible to pre-reg. As soon as we figure out if we're going to register as a collective or not, we'll tell you and get it started. But start saving you're dollars now, pre-reg should be up soon! We're going to keep the food cost at $30, that seems to have worked out perfectly in the past.

Also, please let us know about your status for WAR, if you know you're going, think you're going, or for sure not. And if you have anyone new that would like to come a long, talk to one of the elders about it.

One challenge we know of already is transportation. We don't have the full use to Eric's truck(s) like before, so we need new options. If you have access to a truck or trailer we could borrow for the weekend, that would really help out. Keep an eye out for firewood too, although with limited packing space, we may end up having to buy it all up there.
